Iscariot is a proficient demon hunter. He considers himself Catholic, though he is part of an obscure Christian cult, the Warriors of Jesus Christ's Mercy.

He has a strange belief: if a demon sees his face and knows his name, they may curse him. Therefore, he attempts to obscure these aspects of identity - even to other humans.

He will not be able to keep his life up forever. His father - the leader of his temple - is a tyrant, and Iscariot can only be under his control for so long. It is when he sends his son out into the world to protect it that he loses control of what Iscariot is exposed to.

For Iscariot, this means coming face-to-face with both the holy and the unholy.
